windows 2000 root

I am getting a missing or corrupted file message at
startup- <windows 2000 root>\system32\ntoskrnl.exe
It says to reload the file. The problem is that I can't
find my win2000 cd. Any ideas on if I could download this
file, copy on floppy, and load at startup? By the way none
of the alternate startup modes work. Thanks

Do a search for the file. You should have another.

Have you tried selective startup and chose "last known good configuration"?
