Windows 2000 professional

I upgraded from windows 98 to 2000. Evetything looked good
and suddently one morning the desktop on the machine quit
loading. I have tried everything but the desktop does not
load at all. Even the taskbar does not show. I can press
ctrl-alt-delete and run any program through the task
manager normally. Does anyone have any pointers on what
may be wrong?

Run "explorer'exe"

It should get your desktop back.

If the problem reoccurs look in event viewre. It might
tell you something.
