I am trying to put a large format Eagle scanner on a W2k
Windows 2000 Professional IBM Netvista tower. I have a
SIIG AP-10 SCSCI card and appropriate software. On reboot
SCSI initialization find scanner but when get to Windows
2000 start up screen (with logo) it stalls. When I tried
SafeMode start up it gave screen of drivers and stopped on
agp440.sys

There were three different hardware versions of the AP-10.
Make sure you have the correct driver loaded for yours:

Try making sure that the scanner is always at the same power state when
you boot. It can make a difference if it's already on, or not on.

The disk that came with the card was v1.1, tried that. Per you suggestion I also tried Hardware Version 3. Windows still stalls in the middle of coming up. Thank you for the suggestion.

The scanner is always on and reset has been pushed before the pc comes up. The SCSI software doesn't see the scanner if this isn't done.
