Windows 2000 Pro to Windows 2000 Server

Hello,
I tried upgrading my Windows 2000 Pro to Windows 2000 Server but when insert
the Windows 2000 Server CD, I can only make a clean installation not upgrade.
Anyone know why I can't upgrade? What do I need to do to have an upgrade
not a clean installation. Thank in advance.

You cannot upgrade Windows 2000 Professional to Server 2000, you will
have to do a clean installation.

John John,

Thank for the information. What if I upgrade to Windows NT Server than
Windows 2000 Server, would that let's me upgrade instead of clean
installation? Please advise.

There is no supported path from any version of workstation to any version of
server operating system or vice versa.
