Windows 2000 Physical Drive counters

G

Guest

We have a Windows 2000 advanced server running SP4 and SQL 2000 with SP3.
The physical disk counters disappeared from the monitoring options a couple
of months ago. We have tried the Diskperf -Y and rebooted the server. The
disk performance countes still do not appear.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to resolve this issue?

You can run exctrlst.exe (Extensible Counter Listing Tool) from the resource
kit to enable the counters.
