windows 2000 hotfix

I now have "new updates ready to install" on my task bar.
They appear to be a Windows 2000 Hotfix. I am not sure
where they came from and if they are safe to intall.

If this notification is displayed in the Taskbar then it is most likely
Window's Automatic Updates Feature. To configure this Feature to your
likings goto: START->SETTINGS->CONTROL PANEL. There configure that feature
open the 'Automatic Updates' Icon.
