I have a XP S.O. When It starts up, appears the windows xp logo, and next,
it reboots automatically. I tried
to repair the installation with the original CD, but It fails too. One day I
tried to stop the pc in the same
point wich it reboots, and I see the blue screen with an error with code
0x0000008e. I searched
in microsoft site about this error, and the says that is problem of ram
memory. I changed the ram
memory with a new module and it fails too.

What can I do?. Thanks a lot.

Windows 2K and XP are two different o/s, you mention both.
If you're referring to windows xp try posting to an xp newsgroup.
Faulty ram could also refer to ram on your video card.
Tried booting into safe mode?

Hello,

Check if there is a hardware problem.

From a Windows XP standpoint, I suggest we perform a Parallel Installation
to
troubleshoot this problem. It will install a new Windows XP system on
another
folder without affecting your current system and data. In the new system,
your
computer should work efficiently and stably if all hardware devices are
compatible
and functioning. This is the most efficient method to determine if there
are
hardware problems.
