windows 2000 cold boot starting up beep

Hi,

How can I desable then windows 2000 cold boot starting up
beep. I have a laptop and every time I turn on my system,
cold boot, during the starting up Windows 2000 screen, at
about 75% load, I hear a Beep. I want to disable that beep.

Have you tried to put some cotton in your ears.
