windows 2000 cannot shutdown and logout problem

hi all,

my windows 2000 cannot shutdown and logout after open IE,
i have already installed the IE6sp1 and Windows 2000 SP4
please give me a solution,

Have you tried booting in Safe Mode and choosing "Last known good configuration"?
Can't hurt anything

Have you tried
from a Command Prompt
"type" chkdsk /f/r

Outside chance
How many hotpatches did you happen to install?

i have just tried to enable the verbosestatus in registry for
troubleshooting.
it's great.
it show me about the logoff status..
"now is running : c:\winnt\system32\navlogon.dll"

i think my norton anitivirus have some problem.
i need to go nav for find some information now !

anyway !
