Window2000 lock up

When I move the mouse to the lower right corner of the
screen and try to click the down scroll arrow of a full
screen window, the computer totally locks up. Recovery is
cycle power and boot up from scratch

I would hazard a guess that something is amiss in the video driver
department. Try reducing color depth, and or reduce hardware
acceleration in trouble shooting in Display Properties.
