In windows XP is there a way to restrict access to certain programs for
certain users?

There is a more user friendly way to do this and it also offers instant
recovery from deletions, and changes and malware if set up properly with
proper restrictions.

It is called "Windows Shareed Computer Toolkit" and is free and is from
