window xp pro installation and service patch 2

After doing a clean install for windows xp pro and using a 2 year old
service pack disk installation such as I am having problems w/ missing hkey_
classes_root files and typelib hkey _ windos system 32 files all around 12
files misssing inwhich Uniblue Registry Booster found. I have defraged hard
drive and tried sytem's restore to piont before service pack instalation and
gone through the recovery console using the chkdsk and bootcfg commands to
fix problems but have the same problems along with tring to connect with my
internet yahoo page. can someone please help
 
Why dont you respond in your origonal post rather than starting a new one on
