Hi,
Has anybody encountered a problem where when you click send/recieve, Mail
informs you that it is downloading x of x mails but the mails never appear in
the Inbox? The problem does not happen all the time. I have check all the
usual things like spam filters etc, but I still have this annoying problem!

HI!
please check your safety email program. Open your windows email, go to click
on tools, click protection option and you see email safety setting up. You
choose down level, height level, etc... Choose your level safety email.

Do you have any message rules set? Does anything show up in your Junk mail
folder? WM or WLM?

Hi,

No, I have no message ruless set up and no mail appears as Junk mail.

Thanks for your input.

Andrew

Hi,

Thanks, I think you may be correct, I've changed the setting so I'll see
what happens now.

When I download emails from my server to windows live email , they become
deleted from the server ?
How can I retain them on the server please ?

Ensure that you have selected to "leave a copy of the messages on the
server" on *all* machines that are accessing the account.
Tools>accounts>your account>properties>advanced tab.
Also on *one* of the machines set a sensible number of days to delete
messages from the server, to avoid your server mailbox from over filling.
