I purchased Acer laptop from Singapore which is pre-installed with Win Vista
Home and has CD key below/behind the laptop. The situation is, I dont have
the media and now I am in California.
Is anyway I can order/download Win Vista Home media from Microsoft or any
third party website?

No, I'm sorry but you will need to contact Acer and get the media from them.

Only Acer can provide you with a replacement installation DVD.

I've never seen an Acer laptop that actually had a restore CD..........its
usually a restore partition on the HD.
Which is accesed thru their "empowering technology" icon on the desktop or
under "Start" Programs..Acer.
Their manual is also on the computer........................
unless of course you cannot start at all.................in which case I
believe F12 will bring up the recovery options.
I'd have to go and start mine up to see.....
