window size problems

Both of the window size problems I have are on my WinXP SP3 computers (an
old desktop and a new laptop):

1. The window for Secunia PSI will not stay at the size I set it. I stretch
it to where I want it and click CTRL-Close. It stays the right size for as
long as the computer is on. Once I shut down the computer and turn it back
on, the window is back to its old size. Is there anything I can do to make
the size permanent?

2. It appears that I cannot change the size of the System Restore window,
which is frustrating. On my old desktop computer, everything I need is shown
on-screen. On my new laptop, I have to scroll down to be able to click on
what I want. Any way I can deal with this?

Thank you!

Any window you want to resize permanently must be the /last/ window closed.

Grab the corners of the window and drag it to full screen size. Do not use
Maximize. Close all other windows first via the Taskbar and this one last.
Windows will remember the *last* screen size used the next time you open the
program.
