My Windows Vista Mail is working OK, but every time I open a message it
opens in a 4" X 4" window. How can I get it to open full screen? I don't
preview the message in a pane at the bottom of the screen. I've turned that
off. Thanks.

Hi Thomas
When you open that 4" X 4" window position your pointer on the edges and
drag to enlarge the window, use all four sides until you get it the size you
would like to see each time you open a message. Now close it in your new
size and from now on you should see it open to the size you choose.

1. Close any open message windows.

2. Open a new window.

3. "Grab" the corners with your cursor and "stretch" it to the desired size.
Do NOT maximize the window!

4. Close the resized window. The resized window MUST be the last window
closed for its size to be remembered.

By default, a message window will never open truly maximized.

Question from Nova Scotia.
I need the same info. as I don't want a split screen. How did you turn off
the pane at the bottom of the page? I would rather click on the e-mail in
the address block then read it.

View, Layout, uncheck "Show preview pane".
