Please restate your question using standard English and punctuation. I can't
understand what you are asking.

You are the owner of the computer. If you don't receive installation media
or there is no Certificate of Authority with the Product Key, you aren't
licensed to run Windows.

I have no clue as to what you are asking. Please rephrase or write it correctly even
if you ask someone who writes English correctly to compose it for you

A1. In 2010, WinXP will enter Extended Support phase. If WinXP SP3 is
installed, the computer will be offered critical security updates until
October 2014 but there will not be any more Service Packs or bug-fixes.

A2. If the used computer doesn't include the CDs that came with it, buy it
for parts only.

Computers will always be here , no matter what operating system ;
however , support for the relevant os will only last X number of years

As for the PS:

If the system has a restore, then it generates to the old owner. If you
want to do a clean format and install - then you are the owner.

On the other hand, if you consider being the owner - being listed via the
device manager general tab, etc - have at it. And/or having a user account
with your name, just as easy.

If the latter applies to your PS, see line 7 (right hand side):

I think you're asking if Microsoft will eventually drop support for call-in
activation for XP. You're basing that on past versions of Windows no longer
supported by Microsoft.

Eventually, all good things come to an end. When? No one knows regarding
your specific question. Similar will eventiually happen to on-line
activation of XP. Its just a matter of time.

Microsoft has previously clearly stated that when they decide to stop
activating Windows XP that they would release a patch that would disable
product activation and allow users to use the software without need to
activate.

That's already been done and been used extensively, although Micro$lut
didn't provide the patch.

A patch for what? Microsoft still activates Windows XP so I don't know
why they would have issued a patch to disable product activation. What
exactly are you talking about?

Pirated copies of XP, what else? The latest goes by the name Illusion
and it's a combo of W2K, XP and Vista eye candy. It used to be called
Angelical. Google it if you want to download it and take it for a spin,
although it's in Spanish.

Something to add to the patch brigade after SP3, IE8 and patches, NET
framework version installs and patches, and media player versions and
patches.

I won't ask if you're not around for the activation disable patch, what do
you do then. That is, removed from their server, probably a redirect from
their former activation server.

Clearly stating something, and making it LOUDLY public are 2 different
things. I didn't know thing about it. So, you should chastise yourself and
MS.

All I can say is that Microsoft has made it very clear that users would
be able to continue to use Windows XP for as long as they wanted and
that they (Microsoft) would permanently disable product activation.
This is not a one day patch, Microsoft made it very clear that they
would provide a permanent solution to product activation.
