Window crashes even after fresh instal

Hi
I do not know why, why every time I install windowsXp it
works fine for a couple of days then gives me error
msg "Windows has detected some old files being copied".
When I reboot my system ....windows never boot again
rather it keeps on restarting automatically. Any one out
there plz plz help.

If you are installing XP on top of old installations, then you may have
a virus. If you are formatting the drive and then doing a clean
install, you probably have faulty hardware and should do RAM and hard
drive testing.
