Window containing Excel is cut-off

I'm using Excel 2000 and Windows 2000. The blue band across the top of the
window containing Excel -- where "X Microsoft - Book 1" is displayed on the
left and minimize/maximize/close symbols are displayed on the right -- is
truncated vertically when I have window maximized. This does not happen with
any of the other Office 2000 apps that I'm using.

How can I fix this?

Try this, change your screen resolution to its maximum resolutuion, now you
should be able to see the entire window and resize it. Hit the maximize
button and change your resolutiion back to your normal size.

Hope this helps!

Thanks for your help. Is this a permanent solution? Or will I have to do
this periodically -- does Excel re-set this seeting?

I had this happen to me before and it had nothing to do with excel, so your
guess is as good as mine. Windows does some crazy things sometimes for no
apparent reason and all we can do is hope for the best.
