Window color

In Appearance / Advanced / Window , there is no pure white to select, either
in Basic Colors or in Custom Colors.

There's only a cream color.

I think I have "media center" selected as my theme. Is this cream-color
part of that theme package?

I'd like White backgrounds and Black text in my windows.

By switching to "Windows Classic" I got a White or more White window
(surrounded by a khaki color -- not what I would have chosen, but it's good
enough, so I'm keeping it. I've spent more time in Display during the past
three days than I did for the whole rest of the 10 years I've been on a
computer!!!

Thanks,

Of course the purpose of Custom Colors is that you can make any color you
want. pure white is 255/255/255, although on my computer there is a pure
white listed in both basic and custom colors.
