wincd repair install doesn't detect hd's

I need to run fixboot/fixmbr but when I try the repair option it doesn't
detect my hd's and so it wont continue. I have 3 sata hd's not raid, I tried
the F6 option but I was hoping it would autodetect since I don't have a
driver cd or floppy for my drives. I tried the mfgs website and didn't find
anything I could boot with. My pc is a dell and I've also tried the dell
forums but haven't received any replies.

The primary hd is:
maxtor 6v200e0
and then I also have these two seagate drives:
ST3160023AS
ST3400832AS

I've tried downloading the maxblast bootable floppy disk for the maxtor and
seagate drives but when I tried using them during the f6 specify hard drives
it said couldn't find setuptext.oem or something like that.

If the SATA drive controller was built into your Dell, the Dell
operating system disk will have the drivers built into it. Call Dell if
you don't have a Dell operating system disk for this system and they
will send you one. The drive mftrs. would not be the ones to contact;
you need drivers for the controller which is on the motherboard.

Okay, I didn't know that. I was just using a non oem windows XP cd. I'll see
if I can find my dell cd.
