Friends,

1.
Is it possible to install on one machine Win98 and Win Me.
I did try but it's upgrading only. And once Win Me. is
there, I cannot use Win 98.
2.
I am using Win XP Pro. and having a problem in dialup
connection, once its connected, I cannot disconnect
dialup, I have to restart my system.

Any help any idea,

Thank you very much

Saine,
What have you done to try to disconnect?
Do you see & can you right-click the two-blinking computers for your dial-up
connection in your system tray and disconnect? If you don't see them, before
you connect click 'Start' > 'Settings' > 'Network Connections' > click on
your dial-up icon 'Properties',
click into the 'Options' tab > check 'Display progress while connecting' >
'OK' > After dialing up either click your icon you always dial-up with and
select 'Disconnect' or right-click the two-blinking computers in your system
tray and disconnect. Try that first.

Saine,

Next, try opening Internet Explorer > 'Tools' > 'Internet Options' >
'Connections' > 'Settings' > 'Advanced', check 'Disconnect when connection
may no longer be needed' > 'OK' > 'OK' >'OK'. Close your IE browser windows
and connection should close also

Thank you friend, yes i can see the icon of connection in
icon Tray, i do right click on it and click on disconnect
but no any response, even i did open the connection and i
click on the disconnect button.
still problem is there.

Thanks

try this, right-click 'My Computer on your desktop.
click 'Properties' > 'Hardware' > 'Device Manager',
click the + sign next to 'Modems', now right-click your modem driver &
select 'Uninstall', click 'OK > reboot, your modem driver will install on
reboot. Try dialing up & disconnecting as per before suggestions.

Then perhaps you have a problem with the modem itself in
that it is not accepting the drop-carrier signal via
software.
