win98 & invis. mappings!

maestro

The users can't see the basic map set on the users profile in AD on a win 98
client(it is set to H \\server\homedir\user), on a win2k or xp, no
problem
They can see the mappings made in the logon script on a win98! eg. net use
s: \\server\share

How can I resolve this problem of not be able to map the homedir for win98
clients?

Tx. for any help

ps. The server is a win2k server

Try changing the share path so it is only 1 level deep. e.g. instead of
mapping the home drive to \\server\homedir\user have it map to \\server\user
instead.
