This is on a peer-to-peer network. On a Win 2000 Adv server machine I have 4
shared folders. My single Win 98 and single Win ME can see three of the
folders. The fourth folder is not visible. I checked the permissions and
security on one of the visible folders against the folder that is not
visible and they are exactly the same. I have the username and password of
the Win 98 amd me machines in the users section under local users and
groups. Whey can't my W98 and WinME machines see and use this 4th folder.

Any help will be greatly appreciated. I'm at wits end.

How long is the share name on the fourth folder? Win9x can't read share
names longer than 13 characters, IIRC. Shorten the share name and try again.

What does the command *net view \\computername* shows. Does it
shows the 4 th folder. Make sure that share name is not appended
with the $ sign.
