WIN95 BOOT DISK

since theres no win95 support, i guess i'll ask here-i just bought win95 from
ebay without boot disk--can someone tell me what the boot disk was for? i
dont need it to install/run win95, right?

Install your Win 95. Go to Add/Remove programs and click on Windows programs
and create the boot disk from there. It's a disk so you can boot directly
into DOS, among other things and, no, you don't need it to install 95.

Yes you need a bootdisk to install Windows 95 as the CD itself is not
bootable. You boot with the floppy, change to the drive letter that the
Win95 CD is in and type SETUP.EXE

Windows 95 CD's were not bootable as few computers at that time were capable
of booting from CD. They will need a boot disk.
http://bootdisk.com is the place for them download an image to create one.
