this is xp related, and i dont know where else to ask it anyway- I have win95
cd, and boot disk and extra small hard drive and new xp pc. what i want to do
is install win95 on the extra drive, and then be able to start either xp or
95-(don't ask why, long story-slow typer)-I'm only 6months into computing,
but have learned alot-also learned not to willynilly install something u
don't know about-I'm worried about having 95 invade my C: drive.-- the extra
harddrive is G: -the book says insert win95 cd, at command prompt, type "[C:]
a:\setup" (if installing from cd, precede word "setup" with "win95\") -it
looks like maybe there's a period after win95\ ,but i cant tell--so- is
this the correct sentence- [G:] a:\win95\setup ? changing "C" to G ? --and
where does the boot disk come in? I'm just sitting here with everything,
afraid to do anything--please help? can i just right click on cddrive and
copy/paste to "G" harddrive?--or will that put it in with different files
still refering to C: drive?

See my web site, www.dougknox.com and go to Win XP Tips

For Win9x/Me: Install 98/Me after XP is Installed.
For Windows 2000: Install Windows 2000 after XP is installed.

Note: If your XP Partition is NTFS, you'll need a 3rd party boot manager, such as BootIt Next Generation, www.bootitng.com
