I dont know if I have been infected with the win32 netsky Pworm, but if my PC was, how could I tell
I believe my virus app did detect the worm before it was able to activate, but how can I tell that my virus software is working correctly
Any help would be greatly appreciated
thanks .

Greetings:

If your anti-virus software detected the virus it should have warned you
unless it is configured to auto-detect & delete without a warning message.
It could also need updating.

Read virus information and PC's symptoms to know if the virus has indeed
infected your system, if so download the removal tool you will find there.

To know if your virus software is running: Start Button\Run\type
msconfig.exe\services\state = running? or right click on the
taskbar\Taskmanager\Processes\If Norton= navsvc.exe, if Network
Associates\Mcafee= nvsvc.exe, if another, abbreviation letters match the
maker's name.

Hope this helps.
