i tried to open norton ghost but it said that it is not a
valid win32 application. what setting do i have to change
in windows xp to open it???

If your norton ghost is dos version, it requires direct disk access. You
cannot run it from windows. Yuo need dos boot disk and run ghost from there.

The standard Ghost program that you buy in the store is not a Win32 program,
and can only run from DOS. If, for some reason, you need to run Ghost from
within a Windows NT-based OS (NT/2000/XP/2003), you'll need to get Ghost32 -
which is only available to corporate customers, as far as I know.
