I'm having a problem configuring printer permissions. I have a three
computer, win2K peer network (workgroup) at home-one of the computers has an
attached printer. I can print from all three computer's administrative
accounts. I can't seem to get the printer working from a power user account
on one of the non-printer computers.

Thanks,

Does that power user have an account on the computer that "owns" the
printer? Either that, or enable the "Guest" account on the computer that
owns the printer ... provided its not ever connected to the internet.

Thanks, Giving the power user an account on the computer that the printer
hangs on worked perfectly. I took a look at the default shares and permitted
that user to the printer. What I had done that failed was to permit the
printer to "everybody" not realizing that "everybody" meant" everybody with
an account on this computer--which the user didn't have..

Well, if I find a cheap copy of a server then I'll set up a domain which
will make this stuff easier.
