I got a blue screen on a win2k server with it pointing to
mrxsmb.sys. After resetting the machine, it will no
longer boot up. I get an error immediately when it tries
to start booting, message is as follows:

Windows 2000 could not start because the following file
is missing or corrupt:
<Windows 2000 Root>\system32\ntoskrnl.exe
Please re-install a copy of the above file.

I've found where you can replace certain files with an
ERD, but I don't have one fron this specific machine. I
also read the recovery console boot info, and it doesn't
include this file.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

You don't need one from that specific machine, just from
the same version of Windows.
