I tried login to a client XP machine using my domain user
login. However, the machine shows me an error message
telling me that the domain has failed. However, when i
use the same machine and login locally, i can able to see
all the machines from the network. Moreover, i have
confirmed that my machine is on the domain. I also tried
to add a new user from the domain. I can search and find
the user which i wanted to add, but it showed an error
message when i clicked on the "Add" button. The error
message said, the trust relationship and the domain is
broken. However, i can use all the network resourse if i
am using the local account. I will be greatly appreciated
if anyone give me a hand.

Sounds like you need to add the PC back into the Domain.

Put the XP platform into a workgroup. Reboot the PC. Login to the PC and then put the PC
back into the Domain using an admin. account.
