Win2K pc need to share internet connection with Win XP pc

I have a Win2K laptop connected via crossover cable to a
Win XP Pro PC. A second LAN card in the Win XP PC
connects to the internet through a hub to a T1 line (Ad
Tran box in telephone room). I want to setup both PC's to
allow the Win2K laptop to share the internet connection
being used by the Win XP PC. Can someone give me some
guidance, hints or references on how to setup this
configuration. The Win2K laptop needs to connect directly
to the Win XP PC since there is only one internet
ethernet line coming into the room.

I have tried running the Win XP Network Setup Wizard in
several configurations (residential gateway and direct
computer connection) and also the Network Configuration
Wizard on the Win2K laptop, but have been unable to
connect to the internet from the laptop. A network bridge
was setup on the Win XP PC when the residentail gateway
configuration was selected, but I still could not connect
from laptop.

The T1 system uses DHCP. I even tried atatic IP on the
laptop, but no luck.

Any help would be appreciated.

On XP Pro, right click and delete the network bridge, then enable
Internet Connection Sharing by right-clicking the T1 connection,
clicking Properties | Advanced, and putting a check mark in the
appropriate box.

On Win2K, configure the network adapter's TCP/IP properties to obtain
an IP address automatically.
