Win2K Network Security

I have a problem I have been unable to solve. Hope someone
can help.

I have a small network including Win98, Win2K and WinXP
computers. I have one machine running Win2K that I want to
set up so that any of the other computers can access it
over the network and drop files onto the computer (this
works fine) but I don't want anyone using the Win2K
machine to be able to see or access the network and I have
not been able to find any setting that will do this.

Oddity is that this machine used to be Win98 based and
this was simply handled. The machine on startup asked for
a network password and if you didn't supply one then the
machine couldn't see that network at all. This is exactly
what I want but can't figure out how to do it on Win2K.

If the W2K machine does not have any need to access other computers on the
network for any user, then disable or uninstall Client for Microsoft Networks
on it's network adapter otherwise access to shares can be accomplished by
configuring share/ntfs permissions to only allow appropriate users/groups access
to a share. --- Steve

Steve,
Thanks. That worked perfectly. I simply unchecked the
Client for Microsoft Networks and now there is no access
from the machine onto the network but the rest of the
network can access the machine. About 6 other people
couldn't tell me how to do this! Thanks for your help.
