My recycle bin seems to have disappeared. But I get no
error messages when deleating files or folders.

I've tried doing a find files/folders to on avail.

Does anyone know how I can find it/get it back.

I've been doing some house keeping on a rather full
harddisk and only noticed it had gone, when I went to
flush it out.

cheers

Try opening the Display Properties (Start/Settings/Control Panel/Display),
select the Effects tab, select the two Recycle Bin icons, and click the
"Default Icon" button for both. If this does not return the icon to your
desktop, boot the computer to Safe Mode and see if it's visible there. If it
is, try using the Msconfig utility from a Windows XP computer to identify
the cause of the problem.
