Win2K - \i386\biosinfo.inf could not be loaded

I am attempting to install Windows 2000 pro on an AMD Duron system. When I
boot the install cd, I receive the error "\i386\biosinfo.inf could not be
laoded. error code is 4096" and the setup aborts. I cannot find any
reference to this on the knowledgebase. Any ideas on what my problem may be?
