Having a really frustrating issue here.
I have a:
MSI 694d pro ver.1
80GB hdd
1GB ram
Geforce4 Ti 4200
Dual PIII 700 Mhz
Soundblaster Audigy Gamer(Problem Device)
My sytem runs fine and starts up without my soundcard
being plugged in to my mobo, but as soon as i plug it in
my sytem won't start normally. The only way i could
startup is through safe mode. can this be an irq conflict
and if so how can it be fixed.

Well, I tried both of your guys suggestions the onboard
sound is disabled and the sound card was moved from one
PCI slot to another i'll continue to try different ones.
On another message board someone suggested that i try
switching the IRQ's because there might be a conflict.
For some reason I'm not being allowed to do this throuh
the properties tab.

I have a similar problem with a Soundblaster 16 PCI. Like
you I've tried all the suggestions with no luck. If
anyone has a solution, I would appreciate it. I need the
soundblaster for the joystick port to do data acquisition.
