I have some dell PCs with intergrated 3com cards 3c920c cards when logging into the domain can take a min or 2
Saving a word doc over the network can take upto a 1 min and its only a couple of lines
If I change the media type manually the problem goes away until I reboot or log off and on again
All other pcs on the network are fine no slow saves
Clean 2k Pro install
They have the latest 3com drivers from dell installe
Connecting to a sbs 2003 serve
There is a new hub in place

Is there anyone out there who has has this problem?

What is are your bandwidth/duplexing settings at both the PC end and at the
hub end? They must both be matched, and if the autodetection is even just
slightly mis-optimized, all you'll get is 10Mbps, half duplex (or you'll
have a mismatch, which will cause even further slowdowns). Try manually
setting both ends to 100/full, if the hub end has management capabilities.

BTW, replace the hub with a switch -- they are roughly the same price and
you'll reduce the number of collisions on the network.

dont matter what speed you set the cards once you restart they go slow agai
The links dont match to the problem I have
I am sure its a 3com driver problem and connecting to a domain just wonder if anyone had come across it before.
I will have to keep searching the web for answers.
