win2000Prof., goes internet while browsing the machine in lan

Hi,
In my lan network i have a win2000 pro., machine on that
while i browse the other pc's using network neighbourhood
it goes to the internet. why? pls help me.,
 
Check the ipconfig/all. Does everything point to the server-IP? Check the
computer for viruses and spyware.
