Hello,
I have two computers behind my router connected to my DSL modem; they both
get their IP addresses from the router.
The Win2000 computer can see the shares on the WinXP computer; if I try to
connect, I'm prompted for name and pwd, and everything works as expected.
However, the WinXP computer can't see the Win2000 computer at all. If I go
to "My Network Places" -> "Entire Network" ->"Microsoft Windows Network", I
see the name of the workgroup both computers are (supposed to be) in.
If I double-click on that, I get an error: "<workgroup> is not accessible.
You might not have permission etc. etc."
From the WinXP computer, I can ping the Win2000 computer.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.
