dear si
i want to share the folder over the network in a workgroup. i wants that i can set password for individual resources so that only those can access that resources who have access permission. i dont have domain
i dont want to make groups also
please help me

Disable simple file sharing. Use to share tabs to set permissions. Only
the user accounts in that list will be able to access the folder.
