Win XP SP2 / Nero 7 and ISO?

All I really want to do is make a DVD backup copy of My Documents
and a couple of other special folders that amount to some 3GB.

But I do not understand why Windows wants to try the 'burn' this first
or Nero 7 only wanting to burn a "ISO" thing. ISO ?

What happened to just plain burning of CD's and DVD's?

Start the Program and then hit cancel when you see the .iso icon. Now hit
the icon in the toolbar with the "X" and this will switch you to Nero Express
which is what you want.

Drat!
Nero Express went to C drive and I have folders on drive D that I Could not
access from Express.
<sigh> 70 bucks and still am lost with this technology at 77 years of age.
