Hi!
I have a network of 20 Windows XP machines. They all play together well. I
had a couple that were Home Edition, so I started to upgrade them to Win XP
Pro. The very first one has generated a problem. I cannot see mach1(the one
I upgraded) from mach2, or vice-versa. I can see mach1 from all the other
computers. I can even see mach2 from all other computers. What could be
causing this?

David,

You have a browser problem. There are several possible causes for this.

First, check for misconfigured / overlooked firewalls, and for registry setting
restrictanonymous.
Misconfigured / overlooked firewalls:

Registry setting restrictanonymous:

If no help there, provide "browstat status" and "ipconfig /all" from each
computer, and we can diagnose the problem. Read this article, and linked
articles, and follow instructions precisely:

Please let us know if any of these suggestions are of any help. What you learn
may help others in the future, and that's the purpose of these forums.
