win xp not recognizing win xp or win nt

I set up a network with 2 Win XP PRO comps and 2 Win NT
comps. I set them up as Peer to Peer, hooked into a 8
port Hub.
Comp A & B are Win XP PRO. Comp C & D are Win NT. Comp A
can not see any of the comps. Comp B can see Comp A, B, &
D. Comp C can see Comp C only. Comp D can see Comp C only.
I do not know why Comp A can not see the others. I also
do not know what settings in Comp C & D need to be set to
see the XP comps.

Check to see that all 4 systems have TCP/IP installed and
that it is configured properly.
192.168.1.101 Comp-A
192.168.1.102 Comp-B
192.168.1.103 Comp-C
192.168.1.104 Comp-D
(as an example)

Check that the subnet mask and gateway are identical on
all 4 systems.

Check that the 2 XP systems have their firewall turned
off.

Check that the workgroup name is the same on all 4
systems.

Check that the username and password that you are using
to logon is the same on all 4 systems.

Create a simple share (like a printer, for example) on
each system and then check for connectivity.
