Win XP MCE update on 11/15/2006 removed Caller ID?

My MCE was giving me caller ID with an intel 537ep v9x df pci modem
correctly. After the update, caller id does not function at all. Checked
the MCI settings to be good. I noticed a new date on the
C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers folder (and others too) to corespond to the
update.

Did the MS remove capability from my computer?

It turns out that my caller id function was removed from my telco
service after 3 weeks. Bellsouth tells me one of their vendors did it!
$%&***!

I'd apologizes to MS but WE MS users are owed so many. It is my telco's
fault!

AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
