Win Xp Install Problem

Hi All,

I am trying to reinstall Windows XP Pro on my spare
machine. I am encoutering a problem however.

It gets to around 29 minutes left in the install when it
is copying some files over, this is after its loaded the
networking and other associated components, and prompts
me that it cannot copy a file from the I386 folder
(something beginning with the letters COMP). It then
prompts me to point it to the right folder on hard
drive/cd rom etc where it can find it.

I have tried pointing it to the right folder etc, also
tried with another install cd, but it still comes up with
the same error at the same time.

Any ideas?

Mansoor, you could try copying the i368 Folder to the Hard Drive first.
You can use a bootdisk and
XCopy to copy them over. Get a disk here. www.bootdisk.com and
xcopy here.
