Win XP Home Edition - Sharing Violation : NTUSER.DAT

I used to routinely backup up my data (Documents and Settings) from one
internal hard drive to another using xcopy c:*.* d: /s /e /m

It worked fine from months, but now I get NTuser.dat Sharing Violation, and
it stops backing up.

How do I resolve this?
