"Win XP home /despite removing the blaster virus my friends hard driv
still appears to be full of junk?He had only used approx 5gb befor
infection however his machine has suddenly consumed 30gb(40gb har
drive).he has tried a couple of junk file removers not much success.Whe
he reinstalled windows as a last resort old programs/files were stil
there in programs folder etc but they werent showing up in program
menu?they are not in add/remove either??tried disk cleanup etc.trie
manually deleting etc but seems to be getting nowhere.i remembe
reading about a file type that multiplies(can,t remember name)fillin
hard drive!any assistance would be much appreciated.Also unable t
install all xp updates?Used avast anti virus and microsof
