Hello All,
I downloaded tha ISO file of XP 64 bit edition. I burnt this to a CD using
Nero. The CD won't start when I put it in my machine. I tried the Win 2003
CD and I get the press any key to start from CD message. I have looked and
can't seem to find the problem the files in the root of both CD's look the
same. Any ideas or other things I can check?
Thanks in advance for your help!

Did you burn it using the "Burn from ISO" or "Burn from Disc Image" option?
If you simply burned the ISO to a CD, it won't work. You'll know if the
disc was burned correctly if there are numerous files and folders on the CD,
instead of one single big file.

Bobby,
I can see the files and folders jsut fine just fine. The size of the CD is
right. They are the same as on the Win Server 2003 CD at least in root.. I
am not sure if I am missing some system files or something but they don't
show on the Win Server 2003 CD either. Is there soemthing else to check?
Thanks much!
Mike

Maybe you're trying to install Windows XP 64bit edition on a 32 bit
motherboard computer. The 64bit edition will only work with a PC containing
a 64bit processor.
