Why does Win think my AGP card is an PCI? I have installed
the drivers an it should work. Why doesn´t it?

What you are seeing is normal...Device Manager will report your AGP card as
a PCI card. Your card is working properly.

Have you installed the latest drivers for the video card? Do you have
DirectX 9 installed? Have you run dxdiag to see if it indicates problems?

You have never said what kind of card it is...if it is an older card or a
car with low physical RAM (<64MB) you could get this error because the card
does not meet the requirements for whatever it is you are trying to do.

Please post your system specs, the *exact* error message you are getting,
and what program you were using that caused the error.

But I have gotten warnings that my graphic acceleration is
not activated.

Have you checked your BIOS settings to see which is selected?

You would also need to install the motherboard AGP slot drivers. These are
usually part of the chipset drivers.

You have to install the chipset drivers and or, in case of AMD CPU, AMD
patches. When the OS will recognise the chipset bridge to AGP properly, you
should be okay.
