Windows Side-By-Side (not cleanup) is a method where an
application can use a specific version DLL (Dynamic Link
Library). Normally, Windows File Protection will monitor a
system dll and "Silently" replace it's expected version if an
application install overwrites one. In previous versions of
Windows, Dll mismatches caused a problem called "DLL
Hell".

Personally, I wouldn't attempt to cleanup SxS, as you may
end up with some system issues.

ok, my av is asking if i want to allow win side by side cleanup, there are 3
of them, im not going to allow anything untill i know what it is, was told
it might be spy ware, thansk

i dont have out look express, i got rid of it, but i screwed up, its win side
by side set up clean up 3409932, and so on, there s 3 of them , my av doesnt
know what it is, , i have gone to a few sites and asked about this , tryed
to google it but got 10,000 pages

writes to the registry.
